Moreover, Baltimore will start Tyler Wells, who has been one of the best pitchers in baseball in 2023. Like I said yesterday when I picked the Orioles, I believe the Reds’ confidence is shaken after losing a few consecutive games following their awesome 12-game winning streak. If forced to bet, I would actually side with Baltimore here.

SYSTEM PICK #3: Los Angeles Angels -0.5 first 5 innings (@ -128 odds, vs Chicago White Sox)

My final betting tip is not backed by any of my 19 betting systems. After doing my due diligence about this matchup, I placed a bet on the Angels’ first 5 innings run line against the Chicago White Sox.

L.A. has an 11-3 record the last 14 times they faced a right-handed pitcher. Meanwhile, the White Sox have won a single game in their past six road games against righties.

Shohei Ohtani will take the mound. In two career starts against Chicago, he has a tiny 0.87 ERA. His counterpart, Michael Kopech, has struggled a lot against the Angels in his career, as shown by his 5.27 ERA in four appearances.

I would also like to bring up the fact that Chicago has played .500 baseball at home, but they have performed very badly on the road. Indeed, they hold a 14-26 record, a 35% winning rate.
