NFL Free Pick: Bet the Atlanta Falcons or Green Bay Packers? Week #4 Monday Night Football
NFL PICK (WEEK #4 - MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL)
BY PROFESSOR MJ
Should we bet the Falcons or the Packers in Week 4’s Monday Night Football game?
PICK #4 (1 STAR): GREEN BAY PACKERS -7 VS ATLANTA FALCONS
As a contrarian, I tend to pick teams who have done badly in recent weeks and I tend to fade those who are on fire. This time, I won’t do it.
We’ve all heard of the two straight epic collapses by Atlanta, and how well the Packers offense is doing. I’m going to bet these trends will continue.
One of the reasons is I don’t believe Green Bay will be overlooking the Falcons. Why? Because the game will be played on primetime television Monday night. Aaron Rodgers is relishing the spotlights.
I also think the betting public is underrating the numerous injuries on Atlanta’s side. Starting cornerbacks A.J. Terrell and Darqueze Dennard have already been ruled out. The timing couldn’t be worse when facing Aaron Rodgers! Their kicker Younghoe Koo will also miss the game.
The Falcons have many key guys who have a 50-50 chance of suiting up Monday night: wide receivers Julio Jones and Russell Gage, RT Kaleb McGary, stud DT Grady Jarrett, LB Foyesade Oluokun and another CB, Kendall Sheffield.
In the Packers camp, Davante Adams has a shot to be back on the field. His absence did not prevent Green Bay from scoring at will against the Saints last week. Nose tackle Kenny Clark and linebacker Christian Kirksey may or may not be active this week.
The Packers have won all three of their matchups this year. The margin of victory was 9, 21 and 7 points. Can they win by at least 7 points at home against a depleted Falcons squad? You bet they can!
NFL PLAYER PROPS
I started sending picks on NFL proposition bets to my list of subscribers in Week #2.
I provided six plays that week and they went 4-2.
Last week, once again I sent six recommended bets and they went a perfect 6-0.
Thus far: An astounding 10-2 record!
